Helen Frosi (SoundFjord)

As an itinerant space dedicated to the curation, production and promotion of exceptional sound art and related practices to a broad audience, SoundFjord fosters research and critical listening practices, and encourages a deeper understanding, and wider knowledge, of the sonic arts through new and unexpected experiences, cultural knowledge and skills exchange, alternative educational practices and deep play.

SoundFjord focusses on commissioning new works whilst also collaborating on events and educational activities with like-minded organisations and institutions such as The British Library, Field Studies, Goldsmiths University of London, the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London College of Communication, London Metropolitan University, Museum of London Docklands, Octopus Collective, Parasol unit, V22 and the Victoria and Albert Museum among others.

You will find its activities online, on air and in situ - unburdened by a single space or a defined architecture.

SoundFjord invites collaborative and curatorial propositions as well as consultation work and is available to curate and provide workshops independently.
