Healthy Living, Inc

Healthy Living, Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based out of Washington, D.C.

Our Mission is to educate people of all backgrounds in how to plan and prepare simple healthy meals. We raise people's consciousness about food--its cultivation, history and nutritional value. The nourishing meals our clients learn to make help them reconnect with themselves and empower their inner being, thus transforming their connection with health and the environment. 

HLI serves 1000s a year through our healthy cooking outreach and nutrition education programs through a variety of public-private partnerships. We conduct monthly programs at shelters such as So Others Might Eat (SOME) housing sites and N Street Village. We also operate a 5 day / week after-school program at Jelleff Boys and Girls Club as well as a weekly after-school class with Concerned Black Men National at a DCPS in Ward 8. We continue to develop partnerships and provide ongoing educational programs for youth in Ward 7 thanks to DCPNI, St. Coletta of Greater Washington among other youth development organizations and capacities

Our programs range from a host of clients have included wellness classes for WMATA, Nexus Health, Charm City Concierge and many other for-profit, non-profit and public entities.
