hatch: CUSA's Entrepreneurship Centre

hatch is the new entrepreneurship centre at Carleton University led by the Carleton University Students' Association (CUSA). Based out of 1125@Carleton, hatch is a place where student entrepreneurs, creative minds and people with different skills meet to leverage each other's knowledge and expertise.

At the center of hatch are two student programs - Ravens' Nest and Ravens with Startups - both programs give students access to mentorship, space, workshops, and seed funding. hatch supports a total of 12 student ventures (6 in Ravens’ Nest and 6 in Ravens with Startups). The goal is to give students the tools and resources they need to hatch; in other words, take their ideas and startups to the next level.

hatch also runs various events to engage both students and the greater Ottawa community. From frequent events - such as our Lunch & Learn and the MashUp, to the Legacy Conference (Student Entrepreneurs Conference) - they connect students with the community in an effort to create synergies.
