The Harlem Arts Festival produces a multidisciplinary arts festival in June of each year, showcasing local performers and visual artists that inspire and nourish the artistic community in Harlem. Taking place in the newly renovated Richard Rodgers Amphitheater and the surrounding park, the goal of the Harlem Arts Festival is to fuel the prosperity of our neighborhood, and mark the Amphitheater as a world‐class cultural venue. We are interested in presenting artists across genres — dance, music, theater, and visual arts — whose work contributes to the popular dialogue of the Harlem community.
HAF Sessions are the Harlem Arts Festival's expanded programming series, bringing you the best of the fest all year round! Featuring some of our favorite artists, HAF partners with emerging Harlem organizations to present contemporary local artists as part of our ongoing commitment to their artistic development.
