Hannah Brine

I am a freelance choral conductor and singer in London. I conduct choirs including Kensington Singers, & Victoria Park Singers, & fix choirs for TV and recording projects. I am part of the singing faculty at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts & am studying on the Estill Voice Training Certified Master Teacher (CMT) programme.  I coach corporate choirs including ITV Voices and write and record using my performance name Magenta. 2017 recording credits include singing with the Avatar World Vocal Ensemble, Disney Imagineering.

I fixed and coached choirs for the opening of the 2017 Olivier Awards (Girls Musical by Gary Barlow and Tim Firth), Gary’s performance at the 2016 Royal Variety show and for Strictly Come Dancing. Works conducted include Will Todd’s ‘Mass in Blue’ with full band, and Bob Chilcott’s ‘Little Jazz Mass’ with trio.

In 2015 the BBC named me as one of the inaugural BBC Music Day Unsung Heroes for launching the community choir Victoria Park Singers in Hackney (who were described by BBC Head of Music James Stirling as ‘stunning’).
