HABNET (Haitian-American Business Network) was established as a division of HAAPA in 2004. In 2008 HABNET became a Chamber of Commerce and in 2009 became a separate entity from HAAPA, a.k.a. HAAPA-PAC. We are dedicated to promoting higher business standards and better business methods, supporting and promoting entrepreneurship, as well as fostering trade and commerce within and between the Haitian Diaspora communities and the global community. Since 2005 we have provided business education and financial literacy to our members and the public; and provided a platform for networking and collaboration.
Mission Our mission is to holistically support and promote entrepreneurship and civic engagement primarily, but not exclusively, in underserved immigrant communities.
Vision The vision is to have a dynamic entrepreneurial group in the U.S. that is civically engaged with a common purpose; which is to Educate ourselves to successfully Participate in the economic and civic life of our community, thereby Elevate and Empower ourselves.
In order to realize our mission and vision, we have created a number of helpful programs for you as current and prospective business owners.
