Friends of the Slingerland Family Burial Vault
Tucked away off New Scotland Road, behind the former Mangia property, in the hamlet of Slingerlands, NY is the Slingerland Family Burial Vault.
The Friends of the Slingerland Family Burial Vault was established in October of 2017 to address the disrepair of the Slingerland Family Burial Vault (erected 1852), which is the historic resting place of ten Slingerland family members. We seek to preserve the final resting place of a prominent Bethlehem family by restoring the physical integrity of the vault, improving landscaping and public access and maintaining the site into the future as a memorial, education resource and green space.
