Christine Gurnik has been trained and certified as a Food for Life cooking instructor by the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) to teach the Food for Life Nutrition and Cooking Classes.
After several years as a vegetarian, Christine completely transitioned to a plant-based diet in 1990. Chronic health ailments went away and she experienced an immediate boost in immune health. Always an advocate of continuous learning, Christine studied nutrition to optimize her own diet. The Food for Life program provides the perfect opportunity to combine the skills developed in her corporate career of leading training and development programs with her passion for wellness and nutrition. Her extensive military, business and leisure travel to over 250 cities worldwide provide proof that following a plant based diet is possible in any environment. She is able to provide great tips on meal planning with busy schedules as well as eating on the road in urban, rural and exotic locales.
