We also offer various Advanced Bootcamps, which focus on diving deep into a specific subject, such as discovery or financials.

Basics of Family Law Bootcamp


Basics of Family Law Bootcamp provides hands-on instruction in drafting pleadings beginning to end for divorce, modification, legitimation, paternity and contempt actions.  Attendees will learn to draft Complaints, Answers and Final Orders, as well as basics in effective communications with family law clients, including intake of new clients, ongoing case assistance, closing cases and handling post-case communications.  Attendees will also learn best billing practices, including proper recording of billable time to ensure firm profitability and much, much more!!!


Discovery Bootcamp


Do you want to ensure that your firm can properly and efficiently draft and respond to discovery in Family Law?  Attend Discovery Bootcamp - a 1-Day intensive dive into Family Law Discovery! 
At Discovery Bootcamp, Bootcampers will learn the rules, regulations and law applicable to civil discovery in Georgia, with an emphasis on Family Law, as well as best practices in managing the discovery process and discovery disputes.  Attendees will learn to properly draft and request documents and information from parties and non-parties through discovery requests and subpoenas, in addition to learning to draft thorough, complete discovery responses and objections.


Financials of Family Law Bootcamp


Finances in Family Law can be complicated, messy and hold a lot of secrets!  Attend Financials in Famiy Law Bootcamp to learn how to prepare the Child Support Worksheet, Domestic Relations Financial Affidavit and Marital Balance Sheet. Additionally, attendees will learn to investgatively review parties' paystubs and financial documents for a divorce, modification or contempt action - all valuable skills for any family law attorney or paralegal.  

All Bootcamps include lunch for each participant, time for Q&A with Shanna and a discussion with a guest speaker to gain additional perspective into Family Law in Georgia.
