The mission of Family ACCESS (A Center for Comprehensive Education and Support Services) is to strengthen children, families, and the community by providing programs that nurture child development, promote effective parenting skills, and support working parents. We actively engage a racially, economically, and culturally diverse population across nine cities and towns in Middlesex county to reach over 4,000 low-to-moderate income parents, children birth to five years old, and elementary school students each year.

Today, the need is greater than ever. Young families are facing more complex challenges; working families find day care out of their reach; and the achievement gap between low and higher income children starts even before they enter kindergarten. To address this, Family ACCESS provide four integrated services that nurture the tight connection between early brain development and parenting, using evidence about what works to prevent foster family resilience, avert the achievement gap, and prevent child abuse.
