Inspired to change lives one head at a time, Amy Fair founded a charitable organization, Fair in Action. Modeled after her personal struggles with health & family issues she is looking to increase awareness in her community and offer resources. She has been featured on BronxNet, News 12, and ABC’s Here and Now in addition to many online newsletters and magazines. She is a single mother of a daughter who she encourages and nurtures. Amy strives to live up to her own potential and removes obstacles from her path to give her daughter a real-life example of how she can lead in her own life when she grows up. She also encourages young people, especially women and girls that she meets daily and empowers them to know that they are “destined for greatness”.

Her love and passion is advocating for diabetes awareness and helping young women and children and hopes that she can incorporate that in her prospective business. Fair’s extraordinary commitment to the community keeps her busy educating audiences on the importance of self confidence. She diligently works to develop programs and coordinate with others to create events that educate and motivate individuals of all ages. She is an active volunteer within the community for both educational and faith based organizations and has organized events such as: fundraisers, health fairs, walkathon, and fashion shows. She also had her current employment donate 34 computers to her prior church elementary school to have a computer room. In June 2013, she coordinated her first Kids Walk which had 200 kid participants in collaboration with the Santa Maria School and JDRF. This was done in memory of her late father, Amos Fair, Sr. and in honor of my mother who both has been affected by type 2 diabetes.
