ESU Cleveland
Education, Scholarship and Understanding
A membership organization staffed solely by volunteers, the ESU Cleveland Branch provides students, teachers, and members of the community with a variety of arts education programs.
• Our centerpiece event, the February Shakespeare Monologue Competition, features 30 – 40 students chosen from regional high schools. The program is open to students and teachers representing public, private and parochial schools.
• ESU provides workshops for educators that focus on teaching through performance. Language Arts teachers are invited to apply for summer educational opportunities at the Globe Theater in London and universities throughout the UK.
ESU MissionESU celebrates English as a shared language to foster global understanding and good will by providing educational and cultural opportunities for students, educators, its members and the community.
