Eli Zabar

While the name Zabar is synonymous with smoked fish and the quintessential New York brunch, Eli Zabar envisioned a different kind of food store from his family's West Side landmark delicatessen. 

 Inspired by the food halls and markets of London and Paris, Eli's has become an institution on Manhattan's Upper East Side, directly across town from the store and home where he grew up. At Eli's flagship market on 80th & 3rd Avenue, Eli has worked tirelessly since 1998 as the 'Gatekeeper of Quality,' assuring his customers that the best produce, butcher shop, cheese counter, old world wines, prepared foods, premium flowers and more, have all been carefully curated and vetted to meet Eli's standards.

Now, Eli is offering an inside look and access to his talented team with monthly events and classes at Eli's.
