ELabNYC is an annual, competitive entry program of Life Science Entrepreneur education and business network development for 20 invited ventures spun out of NYC research institutions or otherwise affiliated with NYC. Initiated by the NYCEDC and sponsored by Lilly, Pfizer, Roche, Kaneka, Microsoft, Goodwin Procter, EisnerAmper, White and Williams, Pryor Cashman, Moses & Singer, and Target Health and Cittone and Chinta.
ELabNYC's goal is to train research scientists and engineers to start their ventures and build their business network in NYC.
ELabNYC incorporates an intensive and practical curriculum, hands-on one-on-one coaching, mentoring with experienced entrepreneurs, and meaningful access to industry experts, entrepreneurs, and investors. Participants learn what it takes to run a business and develop fundable business plans, and get access to exceptional resources to address critical topics and issues specific to their venture. Participants in ELabNYC emerge from the program fully prepared to engage with potential customers, partners, and investors.
