The mission of the East Bay Coalition for the Homeless (EBCH) is to house homeless families with children and provide them with the support, skills and resources needed to become self-reliant.
The East Bay Coalition for the Homeless, a program of East Bay Community Action Program was founded in 1989 when community leaders and church groups joined forces to devise a strategy to meet the needs of the homeless in the East Bay re-gion. The East Bay Coalition for the Homeless (EBCH) has an advisory board that meets monthly. Its mem-bers are actively involved in fundraising, promotion and advocacy. EBCH staff are employees of East Bay Community Action Program.
Housing homeless families and individuals while providing high quality, individualized, comprehensive services, including making connections to the resources needed to achieve and maintain long-term financial stability.
