EarthShare of Texas

EarthShare of Texas supports more than 40 of the most respected local and statewide conservation and environmental organizations.  From air quality to zebra protection, our members work tirelessly to protect our one and only Mother Earth.  EarthShare of Texas' purpose is to financially support our members' important work, and to facilitate a strong and engaged environmental community.  

Financially, we primarily represent our member organizations hrough public and private sector workplace giving campaigns. So you, as an employee of a participating business, have the opportunity to give a few dollars of each paycheck to the environmental issue/organization you care about most. Your donations through workplace giving are un-restricted meaning the organization can direct your donation to where it is needed the most.  In recent years, we have expanded our focus into several fabulously successful cause-marketing relationships with socially responsible corporations such as H-E-B and Reliant Energy.  Revenues from all of these activities are shared among our member organizations. The great news is that in the last 25 years, through our programs and support, generous Texans have donated over a whopping $14 million to preserving the beautiful state of Texas and beyond. 

EarthShare of Texas is dedicated to engaging all citizens to participate in the important work of preserving our environment.  We recently created the Houston Area Sustainability Network to facilitate peer-to-peer best practice conversations among local businesses and corporate entities.  We also coordinate volunteer opportunities for interested corporations, their employees, and our member organizations.  To find out how to get involved in any or all of the above, please visit our website.
