After suffering from asthma and allergies as a child and an injury at the age of 16, Dr. Cohen refused to continue to use medication, such as inhalers, painkillers, and steroids. After trying all the conventional treatments without relief, he decided to seek for a cure in other forms of medicine. After he managed to resolve his own health problems, Dr. Cohen dedicated his life to guide and improve his patients’ health. "The Majority of our patients come to see us after years of suffering from different health conditions that cause them discomfort and prevent them from working or enjoying life with their family or loved ones. Many of these patients have seen other providers that have not done a complete and comprehensive evaluation." According to Dr. Cohen, "if you have seen other providers and still suffer from pain or other health conditions, you probably did not find and treat the real cause of your problems."

After graduating and receiving his acupuncture license, he specialized in the treatment of orthopedic and neurological pain at the Rehabilitation department of the Tel Aviv Souraski hospital and at the Integrative Medicine unit at the Assaf Harofe Medical Center. He also received clinical training in acupuncture and Chinese herbs in Zhejiang Provincial Hospital in China.

Dr. Cohen specialized in the natural treatment of conditions related to women's health and internal medicine during his doctorate studies. He graduated from Oregon College of Oriental medicine with a Doctorate of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. Dr. Cohen has post-graduate studies in education and is a Certified Health and Fitness Instructor from Wingate Institute, he has completed studies in Japanese acupuncture, integrative orthopedics and gynecology, and advanced natural nutrition training from the school of Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine in Berkeley, California, and Functional Medicine and Human Nutrition from University of Western States.
