I was born in Lansing Michigan to Rothy James Coleman and Joyce Ellis-Coleman, daughter of Arzo and Easeline Ellis. I'm the sibling of 4, 3 brothers and 1 sister and received my High School diploma from Everett High School in 1981. I relocated to Miami, Florida in 1983 where I meet and married the late Dr. Xavier F. Moore. While being a fulltime student at St. Thomas University and wife, I would assist with raising over 300 at-risky outh in our home (Moore’s Foster Home) with my husband, as well as raising my biological children and younger brother.
I Graduated from St. Thomas University in 1995 and matriculated to Jacksonville Theological Seminar College where I obtained a Master Degree in Ministry in Christian Counseling and a Doctoral Degree in Ministry in Christian Counseling. I am currently the Executive Director and Owner of Dr. Xavier F. Moore Home for Boys, LLC a group home for young men ages 10 - 17 years old who are a ward of the State or has a DJJ commitment.
