Dr Nadine Muller is Senior Lecturer in English Literature & Cultural History at Liverpool John Moores University and a BBC New Generation Thinker. Nadine is the Project Leader of War Widows' Stories, an oral and cultural history project that is supported by the War Widows' Association of Great Britain and by a Sharing Heritage Award from the Heritage Lottery Fund. An expert on literary and cultural histories of women, gender, and feminism in Britain since the nineteenth century, she is the author of the forthcoming book The Victorian Widow: A Literary & Cultural HIstory (Liverpool University Press, 2018) and is currently working on war widowhood in twentieth-century Britain.
