Dr. Diana Liu

Dr. Diana Liu has always had a fascination towards  the science and healing of the human body. This led her to dedicate 8 years of her life studying Biochemistry at the University of Windsor and Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto. Even though her academic years were very rewarding in terms of wealth of knowledge and skills, she experienced pain in her body from sitting all day in class and long-term mental and emotional exhaustion, stress, and anxiety, a.k.a. “burnout”. With the influence of her mother, who is a certified yoga teacher, led to the discovery of yoga. She noticed that every time she left a yoga class, she felt less tension and tightness, less pain in her body, and a “weight lifted off her chest”.


For over 10 years, yoga became a passion and part of her lifestyle as it helped her feel “balanced” in handling life’s journey and challenges from the academic world (BSc., M.B.A., D.D.S.) to the corporate world as a financial advisor and to the dental world. This led her to become a certified yoga teacher and explore other wellness modalities such as mindful meditation and the art of positive thinking. She loves to share what she has learned to help others thrive in their professional career and personal life, founding the Dental Student Society Wellness Committee at the Faculty of Dentistry University of Toronto, providing workshops to dental professionals, and teaching yoga in her local community in Geraldton, Ontario.
