A.       Philosophy of Education

I believe the purpose of education is to perpetuate the growth and sustainability of a nation and its people.  However, the nation will progress no faster that its educational system—than its learners.  Thus, I believe that the fundamental resource is the human mind, encompassed in the students that seek to be educated.

B.      Philosophy of Program Development and Leadership

Leadership and Vision:  I am considered as an innovative and visionary leader in program development, who continues to evolve, improve, and remain current. I have remained current and abreast of changes in the economy, workforce, and education through research, professional development and personal growth.

C.     Philosophy on Civic Engagement

I believe that civic engagement requires investing in human capital through our youth and disenfranchised citizenry.  It’s about advancing the ideologies of democracy, economic stability, and safety in our communities.
