Disability Snowsport UK (“DSUK”) is a nationwide registered charity providing access to snowsports for those with disabilities. We provide therapeutic, life-enhancing and most importantly, exciting activities for individuals and groups who require adaptive equipment and special instruction and support. Our work takes many forms, such as dedicated adaptive snowsport schools, overseas activity weeks, schools and youth programme, eleven local groups operating regularly across the UK and the provision of training for specialist instructors and volunteers. We run programmes from grass roots through to elite representation with ParaSnowsportGB who achieved great success in the Sochi Paralympics. We are very proud to say that our athletes are the most successful Winter Paralympic athletes ever, bringing back a grand total of 5 medals including the first alpine gold medal
"Skiers & snowboarders with a disability should be able to ski alongside the able bodied as equals at all ski facilities and resorts."
"To promote equality and opportunity for people with disabilities to take part in snowsports and to help improve their enjoyment and standard of performance at the level of their choice.
