WHO WE ARE                                                                            

 

 

DOVIA-LA is a professional membership organization for those administering volunteer programs. The mission of DOVIA-LA is to provide education, networking and support opportunities that promote excellence in the field of volunteer management.

 

 

WHAT WE DO

 

 

DOVIA-LA offers its members educational opportunities, channels to exchange information, and a collaborative means to take action. Members represent a diverse range of cross-sector organizations who meet bi-monthly to discuss current issues and share information relating to public, private, and philanthropic organizations serving the greater Los Angeles area.

Bi-monthly professional development meetingsto receive training on topics of interest to volunteer management professionals

 

Placement on and access to the DOVIA-LA membership directory

WHEN WE MEET

 

 

General Meetings take place on the third Friday of January, March, May, July, and November. The DOVIA-LA Annual Education Day takes place in September.

 

 

HOW YOU JOIN

 

 

The membership cycle begins January 1 through December 31.
