Denver Section of National Council of Negro Women, Inc.

The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. was founded by Mary McLeod Bethune, an educator and political and social activist, in 1935.  The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. is a multi-generational organization that works to bring women of different organizations together to improve the conditions of women of African descent, their families, and communities. We provide or sponsor community activities that lead, develop, and advocate for women and we fellowship as family.  We are open to women, men, and youth of all races, national origins, religions, abilities or disabilities, or orientations.
