DeMario Davis

Born in 1986 in East Saint Louis, Illinois, Davis is a self-taught artist who has embraced his generation through a myriad of different artistic stylings. Some of Davis's biggest influencers are Basquiat, Jodi Lechiner, Jason Fleurant, Bansky, Nathaniel Mary Quinn, and Ivben Taqiy.

Davis graduated from Arlington Sam Houston High School in 2004, and served in the United States Marine Corps until 2009.  Davis attended the University of Texas from 2011-13, as a journalism undergraduate student, and served as a Staff Writer for The Shorthorn.

It was in 2011 when Davis started the transition to the visual arts. With a strong background in music, Davis continues to find unique ways to accompany his work with music, as well as issues that he is passionate about. His artistic focus intersects between architecture, sculpture, music, and spatial analysis.

Davis has created over 200 works since 2011.
