Delta Omicron Sigma Alumnae Chapter and Family

The Delta Omicron Sigma Columbus Alumnae Chapter (DOS) was chartered July 20, 1975 in Columbus, OH by eight magnificent women seeking to make a difference in the Greater Columbus area through community service and education.

Since its chartering, the members of DOS have embraced the principles of servant leadership. These principles continue to be the driving force for the execution of quality programs which address national body initiatives within the greater Columbus community. Past programs include Operation BigBookBag, Project Reassurance, the annual Youth Symposium, the Hattie McDaniel Cancer Awareness & Health Program and A34Life HIV-AIDS Awareness program, a CDC partnership of The Act Against AIDS Leadership Initiative (AAALI). DOS has been recognized regionally by Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and locally by the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Columbus for its implementation of national programs.

Reflective of the diversity within its national body, the members of DOS offer a wide array of talent and skills; holding leadership positions in fields ranging from Nonprofit to Medical Services.

DOS is proud to have completed its Sigma family with its two affiliates: Rhoer Club (young ladies, ages 12-18) and its newly chartered Philo Club ("friends of Sigma").

The graduate chapter also offers support to three (3) undergraduate chapters in the central Ohio area:

* Delta Phi – Ohio State University (Columbus, OH)

* Eta Psi – Ohio University (Athens, OH)

* Wilmington College (Wilmington, OH)
