Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF) New York is a privately funded program that annually provides K-8 partial tuition scholarships to thousands of low-income children. This school year, more than 7,500 low-income children are attending 229 elementary schools with the help of a CSF New York scholarship.

Launched in 1998, CSF New York is part of a national effort originally led by the late John Walton and Ted Forstmann to provide private school scholarships to low-income children. To date, the national organization has invested $695 million in scholarships for 158,000 children with local partner programs including CSF New York, which has helped more than 29,000 New York children with scholarships worth $200 million.
