Cristian Vargas is the Executive Director of United for Human Rights Florida.
United for Human Rights is a non-profit, non-religious human rights educational program. With an array of human rights educational videos, and an entire human rights curriculum, it focuses on making human rights a reality both in and out of the classroom. All of the materials contained in the program are not only interactive, dynamic and universal, but they are also free.
It's mission is to teach youth their human rights, specifically the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, to make valuable advocates for tolerance and peace.
United for Human Rights also just opened its brand new offices in Downtown Clearwater in 2015. The United for Human Rights Center is open 10am - 10pm, every day of the week. Not only does United for Human Rights reach out into the community and is available for community events and presentations, but the Center also hosts a variety of community events, seminars, documentary showings, Open Houses and guest speakers, and can host events for other organizations and non-profits to utilize the facilities free of charge.
