Credit Builders Alliance

Credit Builders Alliance (CBA) is a national nonprofit that advances credit and asset building by providing services, resources, and innovative solutions to over 400 nonprofits that serve low- and moderate-income individuals directly. CBA’s philosophy is that good credit is essential to achieving and maintaining financial stability. This is an elusive goal for 64 million low-income and underserved individuals and families excluded from the financial mainstream. CBA believes that mission driven nonprofits are uniquely positioned to help these struggling households build credit as an asset.

CBA’s core services CBA Reporter, CBA Access, and Credit as An Asset training support nonprofit organizations across the United States in helping their clients build credit and assets, and improving overall access to mainstream affordable financing, quality housing, and employment opportunities. Through CBA services, on a monthly basis, nonprofits pull over 6,000 consumer credit reports and report over 27,000 consumer tradelines totaling $695 million.
