CPR Providence Healthcare Provider BLS CPR program is approved by the American Heart Association. In addition, our program meets the Mass. Dept. of Early Education & Care, JCAHO and OSHA guidelines. CEUs are available to the healthcare provider. Upon completion of the program, participants become AHA-certified to administer CPR to adults, children and infants. Skills taught include:

•Assessment of victim's breathing and pulse •Foreign body airway obstruction techniques (Heimlich maneuver) •Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) •Use of mouth-shields and other barrier devices •Determining your legal responsibilities and liabilities •Managing infants, children and adults •Managing medical, injury and environmental emergencies
