Concho Valley Home for Girls/Children's Emergency Shelter

The Concho Valley Home for Girls opened its doors to adolescent girls from troubled homes in 1973.  Our program provides a home-like atmosphere, and encourages responsibility and self-sufficiency. The Children's Emergency Shelter has been a refuge for children removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect since 1978. In addition to residential programs, our agency funds the Transition Center.  This program serves youth ages 18 to 26 moving from foster care to life on their own.
