Community Food Bank of Citrus County

1 in 6 adults and 1 in 4 children under the age of 18 struggle with hunger. Over 23,000 Citrus County residents, or 17%, are living below the poverty level. Sadly, our child poverty rate is 50% higher than the U.S. average. This is why Citrus County schools now provide 68% of students with free or reduced lunches. The fight to end hunger is a continuous battle, which the Community Food Bank of Citrus County hopes to win. We use resources from donations and volunteers to reach out to various Food Pantries, Soup Kitchens, and Shelters who in turn provide needed food to the thousands of individuals and families who are in need of a helping hand. We are a non-profit (501(C)(3)) company, donations are tax deductible. Please take the time to see how you can get involved and help us in our mission to End Hunger and Nourish Hope.
