CodeJuniors prepares our future generations with digital literacy and computational thinking skills. Technology is reinventing the world we live in. We want to empower kids to become it’s creators.
We believe that every kid should have the chance to code. We make learning to code a fun and exciting experience. Through coding, they learn the process of logical thinking, problem-solving, and understanding critical reasoning. Kids will love to play with codes and create their own games, apps, and animated stories. The possibilities are endless!
We want to help kids to be creative thinkers. Young coders will be given the opportunity to learn how to work on creative projects, to start with an idea, to experiment, to learn from trial and error, and to see their idea come to live! Seeing their own success provides a sense of accomplishment and drives self-motivation. Not to mention having lots of fun at the same time.
Unfortunately lots of schools today are not set up for kids to be creative thinkers. Kids often go to a classroom where they sit, fill out worksheets and listen to lecturers who based their educational model that only focuses on delivering and transmitting information to the students. What’s needed is the back to basic approach of giving more freedom to children on designing, creating, experimenting, and exploring. The process and experience they go through in our “learning-by-making” projects will give them a more meaningful insights to learning.
Kids are naturally curious students. At CodeJuniors, we encourage students to learn how to learn by giving them opportunity for self-discovery. We aim to foster self-confidence, grit and curiosity in our classes. We want students to feel they can learn anything they want when they put their hearts and minds into it. It’s an important start to train students to be self-sufficient learners, critical thinkers and problem solvers. This ability will extend beyond school and will remain helpful throughout their lives.
