COACHES - A Program of Families First

The Coaching and Comprehensive Health Supports (COACHES) Program recognizes that health, wellness and development of self-management skills are key determinants for successful outcomes for young adults in Georgia’s foster care system.  These four key determinants are:

  • Healthcare
  • Education
  • Employment
  • Life Skills

Along with DFCS, RBWO providers and Amerigroup Care Coordinators, the Coach works to build clients’ skill in navigating/accessing services while also working with providers to ensure that resources are pooled and coordinated to improve access and outcomes for the young adults being served.
