The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon is one of the longest standing running traditions in the Midwest. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2017, it is one of the 50 oldest marathons in the US.
The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Both the Marathon and the 10K are USATF certified courses. The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon is a member of Running USA, a national organization for the road racing industry.
The 40th annual Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, 2017 in downtown Cleveland! Race weekend spans over two days and includes a variety of events on Saturday, May 20 through Sunday, May 21. Whether you're looking to qualify for Boston, or walk a 10K with your friends - you'll enjoy a scenic "tour" of Cleveland's landmarks and all the amenities of a world-class event. Join us on race weekend for a tour of the Rock and Roll Capital of America – with Sunday events starting at the "Q", home of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In addition to the individual events for 2017 the Challenge Series will continue featuring three two-day challenges. Participants who register for one of the challenges will receive an additional medal and special race swag. Be a part of the race crew. Run.Cheer.Volunteer!
