Children's Scholarship Fund New York

Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF) New York is a privately funded program that annually provides K-8 partial tuition scholarships to thousands of low-income children. This school year, more than 8,000 low-income children are attending 276 elementary schools with the help of a CSF New York scholarship.

Launched in 1998, CSF New York is part of a national effort originally led by the late John Walton and Ted Forstmann to provide private school scholarships to low-income children. To date, CSF, along with its partner programs nationwide, has invested $741 million in scholarships for 166,000 children, including 31,000 New York City children.
