Chef Asata, Life Chef LLC

Asata Reid, MS Ed., MPH, is the owner of Life Chef, a culinary and nutrition education service. She has over a decade of experience as a professional chef and community health educator, conducting seminars and hands-on cooking classes with children, working adults and seniors.

 

 She is an honors graduate of the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Atlanta, a cum laude graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Journalism, and an honors recipient with a Masters in Education from the University of Kansas. Chef Asata is currently enrolled at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University as a Masters of Public Health candidate (2020). Chef Asata was inducted into the Atlanta Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International as part of the class of 2018, and is a recent alum of the 2020 StartMe:Eastlake business accelerator program.

 

Her superpower is getting kids (and adults) to eat their veggies!
