The Center for Deployment Psychology trains military and civilian behavioral health professionals to provide high-quality deployment related behavioral health services to military personnel and their families. We are excited to offer programming for the University Counseling Center Core Competency (UC4) offered at College and University Counseling Centers across the nation.
A tri-service consortium, the Center for Deployment Psychology is headquartered at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) in Bethesda, Maryland. As the Nation's only federal health sciences university, USU is committed to excellence in military medicine and public health during peace and war.
Founded by a joint act of Congress and the American Psychological Association (APA) in 2006, the Center for Deployment Psychology is a nationally recognized for its broad spectrum of continuing education programs, conference lectures, and clinical workshops focused on the unique needs of the military community. Presentations are delivered by recognized experts on military culture, deployment psychology, and evidence-based therapies.
