Carly Jean Journeyhawk Turner

Carly is a trained medicine helper by the late high-level shaman and indian doctor Fawn Journeyhawk from the Mandan (Crow) and Shawnee tribes. Carly has spoken at the International Conference of Society for Shamanism as well being published in Coreopsis, Journal of Myth and Theater from Society of the Ritual Arts.  Carly was a medicine helper for three years, and in training for four. She went into isolation for one year on the side of a mountain with no electricity or technology to be trained in running a medicine camp. She was trained in being a water pourer, communicating with plants, and helping to connect people to the higher powers of healing.
