Care About The Strays dba Cats For Adoption

Care About The Strays (C.A.T.S.) is an all volunteer, non-profit, 501-c-3. We are dedicated to the care and control of community cats, including feral colonies throughout the county.  We also utilize the humane practice of Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) to insure that the feral community cat colonies do not continue to grow in size, adding to an already out of control problem. After we rescue a cat/kitten each is given a complete examination by a veterinarian, which includes spaying/neutering, vacinations and blood testing.  Unadoptable cats are returned to their respective areas where they are provided with shelter and fed daily.  Friendly healthy cats are held in foster care until they are adopted.

At this time we are unable to assist in cat situations. Our fosterers are completely filled at this time.  Lack of new volunteers are keeping us from doing all the work we need to do. Of course, we continue to find homes for the many we are fostering.

We are an all volunteer organization with no paid employees.  We depend entirely on donations and our fundraisers to provide the funds we need to operate.  If you would like to volunteer, make a donation, adopt a cat, view more events, please visit us at or make your donation on this site.
