Blue Ridge Artisans

Blue Ridge Artisans is home to the working studios of Jennifer Tepper Heverly (dyer, textile artist, and abstract painter) and Kate Anderson (oil painter and print maker). It also houses The Gallery at Blue Ridge Artisans, a fine art gallery featuring the work of both studio artists, as well as the curated work of several other local artists in ceramics, jewelry, kiln-fired glass, photography, stained glass, and wood. Housed in an historic school house, Blue Ridge Artisans is a beautiful blend of color, texture, and fine handcraft.

Workshops for larger parties may be scheduled directly with Jennifer or Kate. Both studios are somewhat tight, so larger parties work if it's a group of friends who don't mind working in close quarters. Please email us at blueridgeartisans@gmail.com if you'd like to schedule a workshop for a larger group (6 people max), we're happy to try to accomodate you!

Blue Ridge Artisans is located in Sperryville, VA, in beautiful Rappahannock County, at the base of the Shenandoah National Park. A vibrant community of artists, craftspersons, micro-breweries and a distillery, art studios and galleries, shops, inns and B&Bs, and restaurants, pubs and coffee shops, Sperryville was voted the Best Small Town in Virginia by Thrillist.com. Come see why!
