Black Women's Forum UK

The Black Women’s Forum UK has many aims in the quest to offer a safe and empowering space for Women of Colour. Our aims are outlined in brief below:
  • To offer a safe, open and supportive space for women of colour to come together and discuss and explore complex issues.
  • To open a dialogue between women of colour to discuss issues impertinent in their community. Including but not limited to issues of racism, intergenerational conflict, mental health, self-care, empowerment, navigating the job force and self-actualisation.
  • To offer a consultancy service for other organisations interested in seeking support in ways to assist Women of colour.
  • To build a supportive and empowering network of women who can offer mentoring and support services for other Women of colour
Every year we hold a free national conference for Black women from across the UK and this year we will be celebrating our 5th anniversary.

We also hold other events throughout the year which we share via our facebook page and twitter.
