Betty's Children's Academy PTA

Betty’s Children’s Academy is a fully accredited pre-school, incorporated as a 501(c)(3), and is funded by parents, small grants, and local sponsors.

The funds raised will be used to support additional educational programs to enhance the quality of our curriculum and school. The goal is to continue to provide an educational environment where the teachers are motivated and excited about teaching and where a high quality, well rounded education is everyone’s number one priority.

A little more about us…Betty’s Children’s Academy (BCA) has served numerous East Bay families since its inception in early 2000. The school provides daily childcare and structured education for over fifty families. Betty’s Children’s Academy boasts an enrolment of close to sixty students ages infant thru pre-k. Betty’s twelve member staff has over 80 years combined teaching experience in the field of early childhood development and education. BCA teachers and students represent a broad spectrum of nationalities and ethnic backgrounds. Some of the highlights of our curriculum include, daily classes with Bi-Lingual instruction, a weekly formal Spanish class, quarterly field-trips, and a formal music program culminating in an annual spring concert. Whether tending to the school’s garden or simply practicing their counting and ABC’s, Betty’s students are continuously challenged and driven to realize their fullest potential.

In fact, for five years since 2009, the U.S. Commerce Association has awarded us with the Best of Oakland Award in the Child Daycare Services category! We are proud of our continued success over the past decade and we look forward to an even brighter future.

Hopefully, with your support, we can make this an annual event that will bring the community together as well as raise funds for this important organization. Your contribution truly means a lot.

Thank you so much for your interest in supporting Betty's Children's Academy.
