 BetteAve Productions is proud to bring you Bellina Logan’s " Confessions Of A Mulatto Love Child". Written and Performed by Bellina Logan. Directed and Developed by Maggie Soboil . 


Bellina Logan is a 25-year stage and screen veteran. Bellina has appeared at The Public Theatre, Playwright’s Horizon’s and The New York Philharmonic in New York City. Bellina debuted Tony Kushner’s adaptation of Corneille's "The Illusion" at Hartford Stage, and gave other memorable performances in Shaw’s "Arms and the Man", Sheridan’s "The Rivals" and others. She toured the USSR with The Acting Company’s "Five by Tennessee". Her first one-woman show "Conversations with a Mulatto Love Child" has been performed in both Los Angeles and New York. She was most recently seen in "The Search For Signs of Intelligent Life in The Universe:Revisited" directed by Ken Sawyer at The Los Angeles LGBT Center and "Les Liasons Dangereuses" directed by Robin Larsen at Antaeus Theater Company . Bellina has worked with film directors David Lynch, Neil Jordan, Katherine Bigelow and Adrian Lyne. She’s had recurring television roles in "Sons of Anarchy" (FX), "Enlightened" (HBO), "ER" (NBC),  "Midnight Texas" (NBC) and is a returning original cast member of David Lynch’s "Twin Peaks" (Showtime). She also has upcoming guest apprearances on "American Vandal" (Netflix), "Better Things" (FX), and "Big Little Lies" (HBO).


This is her second collaboration with Maggie Soboil since they worked together on "Conversations with a Mulatto Love Child". The third part of the trilogy "Idiot Noises" will debut in 2019.


 Born in South Africa, Maggie Soboil became that country’s leading female satirist. As an actress, she won an Obie award in New York for her performance in "Poppie Nongena", and starred in her own TV special for the BBC. She has directed theatre in New York and Los Angeles, and her feature, "Myron’s Movie" and her short film "Missing You" have  played numerous festivals and garnered  best narrative feature awards. She also produced “Sunstroke”, “With or Without You” and “Wooly Boys” starring Kris Kristofferson and Peter Fonda. 



 In addition, Maggie is the head of DreamAgo USA , part of the international organization DreamAgo, that brings together film professionals of all nationalities: screenwriters, producers, directors and distributors. Its purpose is to nurture and promote the creation of cinematic works on all continents, offering support at each stage of their development. She is the creator of 3D Screenwriting, an innovative program that gives writers the tools to create riveting three dimensional characters and she regularly gives workshops in Paris at the CEEA, and in Cuba at the International School of Film & Television.


 She directed Bellina’s first show "Conversations with a Mulatto Love Child ” and is thrilled to be directing the sequel "Confessions of a Mulatto Love Child".


She has just finished directing her new short film "LuLu" featuring Bellina Logan
