Astoria Film Festival

The Astoria Film Festival, in the Kaufman Arts District in Astoria NY, a 501c3 non-profit organization that produces an annual film festival and various local screenings, that highlight shorts and web series, created by the many talented emerging filmmakers in Astoria, NY and from around the world, with a focus on social justice and on bringing attention to under-represented filmmakers.  Astoria Film Festival supports local emerging filmmakers via year-round screenings and panels, meetups, production assistance, and workshops.

Astoria Film Festival also provides film & media arts education and outreach, designed to teach students from historically-underrepresented communities, the art, craft, and process of making media and film, while also helping build a strong connection between classrooms and careers in the film, television, and digital media industry.
