Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA) New Jersey Chapter

ANPA Vision/Mission is

A Healthier Nigeria in a Healthier World.

ANPA-NJ is a non-profit, tax-exempt entity comprised of physicians, dentists and Allied medical professionals with a broad goal of rendering and volunteering medical services to the needy.

Our Vision and Mission is achieved through the following on-going activities and future undertakings:

The organization undertakes medical missions in developing countries as its core activity. We also provide volunteer medical services to local communities in the US through health fairs and outreach programs.  The work of ANPA is philanthropic and requires finances for its execution. We rely mainly on voluntary donations from our members and the general public, as well as corporate sponsorship to carry out our mandate. Contributions are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Our Medical Missions offer us the opportunity to provide free healthcare to the medically indigent,in rural parts of Nigeria. We get first hand experience of the issues and the nature of health problems of the vast majority of Nigerians. It enables us to exchange views, share experiences and participate in collaborative care with our local counterparts. We are able to educate Nigerian institutions, businesses, and other organizations on the health system of the U.S. andCanada.
