Anna Black has been teaching mindfulness since 2006 to the general public and also in organisations.  She has a Masters in Mindfulness-based Approaches from Bangor University and also supervises other mindfulness teachers.  


Anna is the author of Living in the Moment (Cico Books, 2012), The Little Book of Pocket Mindfulness (Cico Books, 2014), Mindfulness @ Work (Cico Books 2014) and A Year of Living Mindfully (Cico Books, 2015) and Mindfulness on the Go (Cico Books, 2017). Her books are accessible introductions to mindfulness and how to introduce it into everyday life. 


Anna began practising mindfulness as a way of managing her own general and work-related stress and, with over twenty years' eperience in publishing to director level, she knows first-hand the pressures of the workplace and the importance of managing that. As an artist and writer, Anna also has an interest in the role mindfulness and meditation can play in supporting and developing creativity and Mindful drawing as a practice. 


Anna adheres to the Good Practice Guidelines for Teaching Mindfulness-based Courses published by the UK Network of Mindfulness-based Teacher Trainers and is a registered practitioner on their professional listing as well as on the the Mental Health Foundation’s Be Mindful website.
