American Legion Riders Chapter 146

The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion who are also motorcycle enthusiasts. The majority of the Riders are veterans from all branches of service, all ages, men and women, who love riding.  They can be found participating in local events to support veterans where they live, work and play.  They participate in parades, provide help, aid and comfort to any current or former service member and their families, and raise funds for many veteran organizations.  The members of the ALR come from the Legion, the Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion.  The Riders are not a motorcycle club and do not practice motorcycle club rules or regulations, do not claim a territory nor do they oppose or support any motorcycle club.  The American Legion Riders are family-oriented, just as is its parent organization, the American Legion. ALR is a 501(c)19 non-profit organization.

The ALR 146 meet on the 4th Sat. of each month at 9:00 AM at the VANC building, 1617 Mission Ave., Oceanside, CA 92058. If you are a Veteran of any branch of service, or have a family member who is a Veteran, and ride a motorcycle, you may be eligible to be an American Legion Rider.
