Allison Hartsoe is the Founder and CEO of Ambition Data.

 

Allison Hartsoe effectively aligns leaders and implementers across business units to harness existing resources and foster a connected culture of customer-centric innovation. Allison is a deeply skilled marketing technologist with a broad strategic view and a passion for analysis. She has built and executed digital analytics strategies for Fortune 500 customers including Blackrock, BlueShield, Genentech, GlaxoSmithKline, HP, Intel, Microsoft, Nike, Seagate and SelectQuote.

 

Prior to forming Ambition Data LLC, Allison was Group Director, Digital Intelligence at Cardinal Path, Senior Manager at Ernst & Young and VP Analytics at Semphonic, a leading web analytics consultancy in the United States acquired by EY. Semphonic specialized in sophisticated enterprise measurement for financial services, media & publishing, health and pharma, public sector and B2B web sites. Allison led several of Semphonic’s largest engagements.

 

Prior to that, Allison was the founder and CEO of Aspyro, an eBay analytics company that optimized sales and reduce fees for some of eBay’s largest PowerSellers. Aspyro business-analysis technology included proprietary algorithms to help sellers determine which products are most likely to provide the best return on investment within the eBay channel.

 

Before joining Aspyro, Allison co-founded iSyndicate in San Francisco. iSyndicate was a venture-backed marketplace that sold digital content to Fortune 500 corporations from media publishers. The company grew to 230 employees with 6 domestic offices and 3 international before being acquired by a competitor in August 2001. While at iSyndicate, Allison lead the International Team where she opened iSyndicate's first European office in London, and later struck a 50-50 joint venture with media powerhouse Bertelsmann. Prior to her international role, Allison led the Sales Operations and Marketing teams which closed content purchase deals with corporations, then ran the processes to deliver it.

 

Allison’s experience and passion for analysis allows her to sees future trends and relate it all the way back to the tactical moves her clients need to make today.

 

Allison has been published in Forbes.com, Fast Company, Online Marketing and she publishes her own blog, Schrodinger’s Cat. She has spoken at Conversion Conference, eMetrics and the Tableau User Conference.

 

Outside of work, Allison loves travel, skiing and family adventures. She has climbed the Great Wall of China, scaled Mt. Kilimanjaro, bicycled across the USA and rocked a number of local trivia competitions.
