AIGA Northwest Arkansas

AIGA believes designers serve a critical role as communicators, educators and innovators. Founded in 1914 as the American Institute of Graphic Arts, AIGA remains the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design and is now known simply as “AIGA”, the professional association for design. AIGA’s mission is to advance design as a professional craft, strategic tool and vital cultural force.

AIGA supports design professionals, educators and students throughout their careers. AIGA represents a variety of professions under the umbrella of communication design, ranging from book and type design to interactive design and experience design.

AIGA Northwest Arkansas became an official chapter in November 2016. Northwest Arkansas has proven itself a hub for creative work. The board is made up of representatives from Northwest Arkansas companies, agencies and educational institutions such as Walmart, Tyson, University of Arkansas, DOXA, RevUnit, BLKBOXLABS, and others.
